What are your guests really consuming? Research reveals great saving opportunities.

Guests can save up to 38% of their energy use if hosts only knew how to ask them correctly. This and other findings reveal guest resource use behaviours from three years of intensive scientific research which has just been published. The International Centre for Responsible Tourism Australia, which has supported the research, has summarised the findings into two short reports which you can read here. Rather than consider the idea of guest engagement as a perilous cost the relativity may, in fact, be very different as guests will not only save resources but enjoy the process, so helping firms cut costs and reducing their carbon emissions.
